Krishnadevaraya put in place a marvellous water distribution system executed by Portuguese masons. To bring water from outskirts, for drinking, beautiful gardens, luxurious water games, and for agricultural land which were leased out the farmers who must ensure food sufficiency to withstand any enemy attack.
